Art at the Expo
You are bound to find art you love at the Expo, including:
- Lynda Bell’s beautiful and popular work in many forms, including paintings large and small, cards and magnets. Some of her originals are for sale (I’m putting in my order!).
- Rohan Bell’s wondrous art.
- Richard Duhs’s sculptures (tbc). So unusual! And all are made from recycled materials. This guy is very creative.
- An Art Competition for students at Kamo Intermediate and Whangarei Intermediate. There are 16 entries. All will be on show. The Judges will decide 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The prizes will be $50 for 1st prize, $30 for 2nd prize and $20 for 3rd prize. There will also be a People’s-Choice Vote Box where the public decide the winner by numbers of votes counted. The winner of the People’s-Choice will get $40.
