Yoga with Jeannie Lacey from Our Yoga Kapiti
Come enjoy a wonderful uplifting yoga session before all the self-indulgence of the day.
Join the fabulous Jeannie Lacey from Our Yoga Kapiti for a gentle yoga class before enjoying the scrumptious vegan delights on offer throughout the day. Jeannie says her yoga session will be gentle enough to ensure everyone feels well. Think ‘rest and digest’!
You will be guided through various postures which will add a bit of stretch and relaxation to your day. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes or wrap your foot around behind your head! The postures will be mostly floor based, and will be accessible to everyone – a gentle practice.
“Be prepared to feel calm, relaxed and peaceful by the end of the session. Yoga is for everybody – no matter age, gender, size or mobility,” says Jeannie.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Jeannie moved to the Kapiti Coast about three years ago after living (and teaching) in Whanganui.
She teaches ‘modern’ yoga styles (Power Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga) at Our Yoga Kapiti, Peka Peka Beach. Jeannie’s focus is on a functional practice that can be modified to suit everybody’s individual needs. For her, it is important that her students are ‘safe’ in their practice; and that they learn to use skills that enable them to focus, and quieten their minds. With only six months of transitioning to a vegan lifestyle, Jeannie feels honoured to be able to offer this class as a way of giving you’re the opportunity to care for another sentient being … you.
