Southward Car Museum

The Southward Car Museum north of Paraparaumu, makes the Expo handy and accessible to Wellington, Horowhenua, Manawatu and other lower North Island people. While it is world leading car museum it also home to the largest conference facility on the Kapiti Coast.

The large Grand Hall will host all the inside exhibitors while there are two large conference rooms upstairs will host the speakers and cooking demonstrations. A massive outdoor marquee will be dedicated to food stalls. Films will be screened on the large stage at the front of The Grand Hall.

The expansive car park provides ample parking to attendees.

Getting there

By car
There this plenty of parking. View this link on the Southward Car Museum website for directions.

By train
By train from Wellington to Paraparaumu railway station. Trains leave Wellington at .14 and .44 past each hour on a Sunday.

By bus
There is no bus service direct to the museum however a taxi fare from Paraparaumu station is approximately $10 one way.

Originally launched in 2007 as the Vegetarian Expo in Christchurch, this inspiring annual food and lifestyle event has continued to demonstrate growth and popularity for the past ten years and is now held nationally.
